I’m pretty average, I think, although those who know me may disagree. California was home until a few years ago when I decided it was time for a change. The mystic Indian lands, wide open spaces, beautiful mountain ranges, blue skies and warm sunshine of Arizona beckoned… and I followed.
I’m a dedicated entrepreneur and to being the boss of me. I never liked the 9-to-5 grind, hated fighting southern California traffic, and being told what, when and how to do my job.
Because so many subjects interest me, I couldn’t pick just one, so I own several websites on a variety of topics near and dear to me. I’m crazy about what I do because my life is my own.
Besides me, there’s my daughter, her hubby and their three precocious little boys. I have such respect and admiration for my daughter — she’s a great mom who always puts her kids first, keeps the hubs and those who depend on her happy… challenge enough… and still manages to run her busy photography studio. Fortunately my son-in-law is a rock who usually seems willing to help out! Needless to say, they are everything to me. Now if only I could talk them into relocating several hundred miles south!
Rounding out family are two grown step-daughters living on the other side of the country. Both are busy with successful careers and families of their own.
Last but not least are the two clowns that live with me. They are about 2½ feet tall with beautiful brown eyes, lots of spots, four legs, and tails that wag endlessly. They are always underfoot, begging for food, and hogging the bed covers. But I’m not complaining… they warm my heart and make me laugh out loud everyday!
